This college came into existence in the year 2002 under the same trust BMSET which is off the BMS College of Engineering. This was the first private college established. Both these colleges are managed by the same trust BMS educational trust which is founded by Sri B M Sreenivasaiah and his son Sri B S Narayan. This college is very well structured and managed. Also it is recognized by the AICTE and Government of India. This college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
