This college is a part of BNM Educational Institutions which is established by the Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Charities trust which was started way back in 1972. This college is an ISO 9001:2008 approved organization. Shri. N. Raghunath Rao Maanay who is the Managing Trustee and Prof. Sunanda P Jadhav who is the Secretary and Principal founded the institution with the aim to impart high quality education to the students of Karnataka.
